Sorry!

Hey dolls!

Soooo sorry that I haven't been posting recently!  Been a mental few weeks at work and during the home buying process.

Recently gotten a new job at work as a dessert chef so the shifts have been rather mental! Had my graduation from uni & me and my fiancé have just signed the paper work to our new house today *excited dance* so hopefully once the move has been done I shall be posting regularly :) & will do a post on before and after pics of our new home for you to have a nosey :)

Mini winter haul :)

Hey dolls!

Just thought I'd make a mini haul blog on the preparations I've undergone ready for the cold weather! I decided that I had to buy myself some winter clothes and some winter boots ready for the cold weather!

Money has been rather tight recently as myself and my fiancé has just bought our first house (eeeeek) I will blog about this and not take up your time now. With this I've been shopping around for some bargains & managed to find some!!

I must admit now I am the worst shopper EVER! To say I'm a girly girl I loathe shopping but LOVE online shopping! So I dragged myself to Meadowhall (Meadowhell as I refer to) to buy some boots & jumpers. The first and last shop I went into was internacionale and found the PERFECT pair of biker boots!!

I am completely smitten and a bargain at £29.99!! Then I got to the counter to be told by the cashier if I bought a handbag I would recieve 25% off it! Now I know a bargain when I hear one so I bought myself a new bag....obviously to go with my new shoes ;)

So my handbag came in at £20 yet ANOTHER bargain! However that made an end to my 'winter shopping trip' (I really do despise shopping can you tell?) However it meant another shopping trip for jumpers and other winter bits I needed!

Cruelty Free!!

I have recently converted to using cruelty free products (no I am not a vegan or vegetarian). I try to use products that are 100% cruelty free.

I may be seen as a hypocrite for being a meat-eater and being against animal testing. That is your opinion but please do not leave abusive messages or comments. I feel that killing an animal so I can wear foundation etc is disgusting. I hope to influence others in joining the campaign against animal testing!

My definition of cruelty free may differ from yours,  so please PLEASE be aware that something I consider to be cruelty free, someone else may not, and vice versa.

In my definition 'cruelty free' is a product which at no point during production has been tested on animals, for example; either as a finished product, or any of the ingredients. This includes testing conducted by the brand, or by third parties on behalf of the brand. I understand in certain countries this is the law however I still refuse to use these products.

I am currently using up all my products (cosmetic and bath/body products) and replacing them with cruelty free products as you can imagine I have spent a small fourtune on these products :) as I am a lover of Superdrug own brand products nearly all of my products are cruelty free anyway!

If any of you have any cruelty free brands you can reccomend then please do :) I look forwards to hearing from you all :)

Sleep-in Rollers

Hey Dolls :)

Thought I'd share my review on Sleep-in Rollers!

I ordered these last year after reading all the reviews online & seeing other bloggers raving about them :)

Here's a picture of them! They are sooo cute and PINK!! Now I'm obsessed with pink so this is a bonus from me hehe :) 

I put them in with wet hair from the shower with argan oil run through the lengths of my hair. It says damp hair but because my hair is very thick and doesn't hold curl that well I decided to try wet hair first :)

I won't lie you can feel them in your hair and are a little uncomfortable however I managed to get a full nights sleep and I'm the lightest sleeper ever!!

As you can see my hair is very voluminous and if I'm honest I didn't think they would work as well as they had as I have really short layers!

All in all I am sooooo thrilled with my purchase and would recommend them to ANYONE & EVERYONE!

Just a post to introduce myself! My name is Jessica but I prefer Jess or Jessie :)

I am 21 years old & currently having a year ourlt for University & education! I have a fabulous job which I love but I shall be returning to college next September to do a night course :)

I did have a blog however I didn't keep up with it & decided to create a new account :) fresh start and all that :)

I shall keep my posts to a minimum of once a week if I don't you have permission to give me abuse haha :)

All my reviews are of my own opinion & if I have been sent products to review & have not purchased them with my own money or have purchased them out of my own pocket I will state in each post. I believe it is only fair to yourself to know I am being completely honest with you :)
